I've been abroad only twice and long ago - once in UK (1995) and once in Germany (1998). In England it was studying at Portsmouth University (for 1 semester, as part of a student exchange program of Novosibirsk Teachers' Training University) at the faculty "English as foreign language". So I've been there for a long period of time and seen much of Southern England... And surely, a lot of impressions and memories were left after all my adventures at the costs of UK. :-)
As for Germany… Frankfurt-am-Main. One can say, I practically haven't been there since it was just a business trip for 1 week and most of the time was spent working at Ambiente'98 exhibition. Tut mir leid…
